A very distinguished Institute in Santiago, with some well-known psychotherapists in Chile, invited me to conduct a Trauma workshop with their team. Their focus was systemic and some of them in their early trainings still had the great opportunity to learn with Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela, the co-founder of the Mind-Life Institute with the Dalai Lama.

By the end of the day the senior leader of the institute came to me and smiled: \u201cI thought I invited you for my team and that you would not teach me anything new, but you did, and expanded my mind.<\/em>\u201d \u00a0
\u00a0I appreciated his statement and I equally valued\u00a0our intensive peer-conversation later at dinner. We touched on the topics of\u00a0individual therapy and their specialization in\u00a0Family Therapy since\u00a0they dealt with\u00a0Developmental and Family Trauma every day in their institute. Like most countries,\u00a0the society was overshadowed by\u00a0Generational and Collective Trauma. Chile especially, also endured the traumas\u00a0of natural disasters*\u00a0and was facing\u00a0great challenges with their\u00a0questions of ecology, economy and the environment.

\u201cWhere do you see, that our work could offer answers for these almost overwhelming questions<\/em>?\u201d He asked me in our conversation.

What did he really mean with his question? He realized\u00a0that although with his 74 years, still studying,\u00a0practicing and being one of the leading therapists in the country, he just had experienced, that\u00a0the inclusion of a body-oriented approach (beginning at the cellular pulsation) as well as Dimensions of Transpersonal and Positive Psychology, with meditative practices\u00a0and an\u00a0emphasis on happiness and well-being,\u00a0could further\u00a0his practice of System Theory into an expanded energetic understanding.

Core Evolution teaches the experience, theory and practice of the Body-Mind Field, that we constantly co-create in relation to our own inner processes, family and society situation as well as our environmental and planetary condition that we are living in. That means we address\u00a0the biological, personal, relational, cultural, and global\u00a0dimensions\u00a0of our life.
\u00a0Many people in our society have now heard of or practice Mediation and Mindfulness. We find numerous new organizations (including our own Institute for Energy & Consciousness, since 2003) for the exploration and research of Consciousness and Quantum Physics. We assimilate this knowledge and\u00a0intellectually know, that we are all connected – but since Covid-19 we\u00a0know\u00a0in body and mind<\/em>,\u00a0that the whole world must be seen as one large organism of which we are a part.<\/em>

When we did 10-day wilderness retreats in Northern California, we could see, that often after the fifth day, participants experienced a shift in their perception and awareness of\u00a0Inner<\/em>\u00a0(their individual self) and the\u00a0Outer<\/em>(landscape, environment, elements, sky) – there was no sense of separation anymore; it became a direct universal experience of Oneness in the larger field of existence.\u00a0

In our\u00a0Energy, Love and Consciousness Program\u2122<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0these principles have always been applied and practiced. We deeply\u00a0understand,\u00a0that the universe and the earth is pulsing in us and that our Individual Self and Being is also influencing this\u00a0pulsation. Therefore, any work of healing and transformation must go\u00a0both ways.\u00a0

With a body-oriented and meditative approach to\u00a0Mindfulness, we cultivate our\u00a0Seeing and Sensing\u00a0<\/em>and move towards\u00a0Knowing\u00a0about\u00a0Presence – a state of Non-Duality.\u00a0<\/em>As I always\u00a0express:\u00a0\u201cThe\u00a0healing from attachment or ignorance is not de-tachment, but\u00a0PRESENCE!<\/em>\u201d Otto Scharmer, who also has been influenced in his work by F. Varela, coined the term\u00a0\u2018Presencing\u2019 f<\/em>or\u00a0this process.

In the state of presence we can witness the larger perspectives of who we are, individually, socially and globally.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>

Dave Courchene, Anishnaabe, elder and the founder of Turtle Lodge in Manitoba, Canada, responded to the overwhelming questions that we all face, which we have to wake up to:
