Space philosopher Frank White coined the term the Overview Effect, after he interviewed numerous astronauts who shared with him their cognitive shift and expansion of awareness by viewing the earth from space.
Of course we can discuss: do we need to spend billions to come to this insight: that we are one with the universe, that we are all connected, to see the earth as a marble of beauty, to be cherished and cared for?
In the shamanic traditions that I have participated in, and in Eastern traditions that I have studied and meditated with, we also journeyed the universe and felt the connectedness with all existence.
In the work that we have developed in Core Evolution® and the Energy, Love and Consciousness programs™we reach a state of Overview and Inner-view Effect – a state in which you recognize the greatness of our existence and its Unlimited Potential for the journey in this life.
We are all astronauts, already journeying this universe in our Body-Mind vessel on this spaceship Earth, that nourishes and sustains us. How do we translate this experience into our everyday life?
In Core Evolution we teach that we have to reach a moment of experience to know. The conscious experience allows intellectual information to become inner knowledge, and with that you have a Body-Mind reference: like a deeper breathing and flow in your body to feel more present and at ease. To sense the Pulsation of Life in and around you. To practice theMatrix of Grounding, which allows you to fully arrive in yourself, and trust and meet life and others, with awe, and act from the integrity of insight into the larger principles of life.
Our intention for this life is like a fresh mountain spring, curious to unfold and flow and discover. On this path we face many obstacles, restrictions and intrusions into our integrity, which can become Developmental Trauma – growing up in a family and society we are also exposed to generational influences that can be limiting.

Awakening to the layers of our experiences, including collective and cosmic dimensions, we become aware of our Unlimited Potential to change limiting conditions, to access and utilize our resources to aide positive transformation.
To initiate such an experience, the European Space Agency developed the program Spacebuzz with the aim to reach 100 million children through education and virtual reality, so that they can sense the Overview Effect in them, to feel connected and excited about life, and become ambassadors of planet earth with a deeper level of inspiration and engagement.
When Richard Branson landed from being in space and still fully in awe, he also expanded: “…… and I even more affirm my commitment to protect the species on this beautiful earth, to work harder on climate change, trying to stop degradation and more – to change the world for the good!”
Let us hold these leaders responsible – and let us hold ourselves responsible in the participation and realization of our own Unlimited Potential for the well-being of all life.
